What we record
When you activate a warranty, we store:
- Your first and last name.
- Your phone number.
- The make and model of your car.
- The date the film was fitted, and who fitted it if you tell us.
- The licence code you registered with, and the product, roll and lot it came from.
We do not ask for your address, your national ID, your number plate or your VIN, and we have no way to accept a payment, so we never see card details.
Why each of those
The warranty is a promise about a specific piece of film on a specific car. Your name and car identify what is covered; the installation date sets when cover starts and ends; the licence code ties the cover to genuine ORAGUARD® film and stops one code from covering two vehicles.
Your phone number does two jobs: it is how we reach you about a claim, and it is what proves a warranty is yours. The code is printed on the film and passes through other hands, so the lookup form asks for the phone number as well — without it, anyone holding a code could read the record behind it.
We do not send marketing messages, and we do not share, sell or rent any of this to anyone.
Who can see your certificate
Your certificate lives at a long, random web address. Anyone holding that exact link — or scanning the QR code on your certificate — can see it, which is what makes it useful when you sell the car. The address cannot be guessed from your code, and these pages are excluded from search engines.
Treat the link the way you would the certificate itself: share it with an installer or a buyer, not in public.
Automatic records
Every failed attempt to enter a licence code, look up a warranty or sign in to the admin panel is logged with the network address it came from. That log is what stops someone guessing their way into other people’s records. It is deleted automatically after 30 days.
We also keep a record of changes made from our own admin panel — what changed, when, and by whom — so that a correction to your warranty can be traced back later.
How long we keep it
Your warranty record is kept for as long as the warranty runs, plus a reasonable period afterwards to handle late claims. That is deliberate: a ten-year warranty is worth nothing if the record behind it is deleted in year three.
Correcting or deleting your record
Write to support@orafolwarranty.com with your code and the phone number it was registered with, and tell us what is wrong. We will correct it.
You can also ask us to delete the record entirely. We will do it — but deleting it ends the warranty, because the record is the warranty. There is no way for us to honour a claim on cover we no longer have any evidence of. We will say so before acting, not after.
Where it is stored
The site and its database run on servers chosen so that customers in Iran can actually reach them. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising network, no external font or script provider, and no other company processing this data on our behalf.
